WTA Tour: WTA Finals Day 3

Monday 3rd November 2:00PM GMT/5:00PM Local

King Saud University Indoor Arena, Riyadh

The WTA Finals continue at the King Saud University Indoor Arena in Riyadh. Day 3 of the season-ending tournament sees the continuation of the round-robin portion of the event. Iga Świątek faces Elena Rybakina in the day’s first match. Both players won their opening match, meaning that the winner will almost be assured a place in the Semifinals. Świątek enters with a 6-4 career record against her Kazakhstani opponent. In the day’s other match, Amanda Anisimova and Madison Keys will battle to keep their tournament hopes alive. Amazingly, this will mark the first career meeting between the two Americans. After remarkably similar trajectories in 2025, this will prove to be a fascinating match-up. The WTA Finals conclude on Saturday.

UEFA Champions League: Paris Saint-Germain v Bayern Munich

Tuesday 4th November 8:00PM GMT/9:00PM Local

Parc des Princes, Paris

Paris Saint-Germain host Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League at Parc des Princes in Paris. This titanic clash pits the top two teams in the standings against one another in what promises to be a great occasion. Comfortable wins over Atalanta, Barcelona, and Bayer Leverkusen have placed PSG atop the table, with 13 goals scored and just three allowed in the tournament so far. The defending tournament champions have truly found their momentum in Europe and come off a 7-2 rout of Bayer Leverkusen in their most recent continental match. However, their path now runs through possibly the hottest team in Europe. Bayern Munich are on a 15-game winning streak in all competitions and look incredibly strong. Interestingly, PSG are the last team Bayern lost to, having fallen to the Parisians in the Quarterfinals of the Club World Cup over the summer. With the momentum both teams are carrying heading into the week, this could be the match of the tournament so far.

NBA: Los Angeles Lakers v San Antonio Spurs

Wednesday 5th November 3:00AM GMT (6th)/7:00PM Local

Crypto.com Arena, Los Angeles

The Los Angeles Lakers host the San Antonio Spurs in a meeting of NBA Western Conference contenders at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Luka Dončić and Austin Reeves have powered the Lakers to a fantastic start to the season, with Dončić in particular putting up historic numbers as LeBron James remains sidelined with injury. Meanwhile, the Spurs who won their first five games for the best start in franchise history, have impressed behind the play of Victor Wembanyama and Stephon Castle. With Wembanyama playing like an MVP candidate, and Castle justifying his Rookie of the Year status from last season, it will be fascinating to see just how far this young San Antonio team can go. However, this match-up will be a test for both teams and will help give a clearer picture of the highly competitive Western Conference.

Cricket in Australia: Australia v India (4th T20I)

Thursday 6th October 8:15AM GMT/6:15PM Local

Carrara Stadium, Carrara

Australia host India in the fourth of five T20 International matches at the Carrara Stadium on the Gold Coast. After the first match was rained out, the series has been fairly even, with each side taking a single relatively comfortable victory. Josh Hazlewood dominated the second match with figures of 3 for 13, that helped bowl out India for 125 and secure the easy win. Arshdeep Singh, with 3 wickets, and Washington Sundar, with 49 runs not out, were the heroes for India in their victory in the third match. Once the series is over both sides have exciting schedules ahead, with Australia hosting the Ashes, and India, hosting South Africa in all formats. The final T20 will be played in Brisbane on Saturday.

NHL: Detroit Red Wings v New York Rangers

Friday 7th November 12:00AM GMT (8th)/7:00PM Local

Little Caesars Arena, Detroit

The Detroit Red Wings face the New York Rangers at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. The Red Wings are off to a solid start to a season that they hope will end their lengthy playoff drought. Dylan Larkin, Alex DeBrincat, and Lucas Raymond are quickly forming a formidable trio that is creating palpable excitement in Hockeytown. If their early successes hold, the Red Wings might be looking at not only a playoff berth, but a Atlantic Division title to boot. Meanwhile, the Rangers are rapidly overcoming a slow start to the season to climb the standings in the Metropolitan Division. After winning just three of their first ten games, New York has won three in a row behind Adam Fox, J.T. Miller, and Taylor Raddysh. A win against a team like Detroit would go a long way to helping erase those early-season pains and cementing the Rangers as a team to watch.

Autumn Nations Series: France v South Africa

Saturday 8th November 8:10PM GMT/9:10PM Local

Stade de France, Paris

The Autumn Nations Series sees France host South Africa at the Stade de France in Paris. France enter this matchup boasting an impressive national side and are coming off the back of a hard-fought Six Nations title. While they have won just twice against South Africa since 2009, confidence will be high for the hosts in this highly anticipated clash. Meanwhile, South Africa, ranked first in the world, will be looking to continue their recent dominance as they enter this match as defending World and Rugby Championship champions. They began their Northern Hemisphere Tour fittingly, dropping a devastating 61-7 win on Japan, at Wembley Stadium in London. Furthermore, they have not lost at the Stade de France since 2005, meaning that the visitors will be eager to mark two decades of dominance at the home of French rugby.

Premier League: Manchester City v Liverpool

Sunday 9th November 4:30PM GMT/4:30PM Local

City of Manchester Stadium, Manchester

Manchester City host Liverpool in a pivotal Premier League clash at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester. This matchup of second versus third will potentially set one side up as the primary title challenger to Arsenal. City enter this match in second after dispatching fellow top-six side Bournemouth last weekend. Meanwhile, Liverpool ended a four-game league losing streak with a clinical dismantling of Aston Villa, to slowly resurrect their hopes of repeating as domestic champions. Despite a torrid string of poor results, Liverpool have still managed to hold onto third place in the table, but will have to factor a midweek clash with Real Madrid into their squad plans. With a win, City will go four points clear of their rivals, but victory for the visitors will see them leapfrog City.
