This Week in Sport: 27th February − 5th March 2023
As we enter the third month of the year, the first week of March shows no signs of slowing down in the sporting world. The Boston Celtics head to New York to face the Knicks on Monday night, whilst the drama of the FA Cup returns with Fulham and Leeds facing off in the Fifth round of the competition. Wednesday sees India and Australia start the 3rd Test in their series and another cup competition returns with the Copa Del Rey hosting an El Clásico Semi-Final first leg - Real Madrid versus Barcelona.
Friday sees the start of the Vancouver Rugby Sevens Series, followed by an action packed weekend. UFC 285 takes place on Saturday, where Jon Jones and Ciryl Gane clash for the vacant Heavyweight title and Sunday sees the return of Formula 1, starting the season off with the Bahrain Grand Prix.
