Event of the Day: Premiership Rugby Final

Our event of the day is the Rugby Premiership Final at Twickenham as Wasps battle Exeter Chiefs. Both teams have had an impressive season finishing in the top two places in the league table. Wasps saw off Leicester Tigers last week in their semi-final with a thrilling 21-20 narrow win. Exeter beat European Champions Saracens 18-16 in an incredibly exciting game to reach the final. Wasps have won their last 10 finals in all competitions but have only won four times in the past 15 Premiership meetings between the two sides, since Exeter were promoted in 2010. A win for Wasps would claim their seventh league title, whereas Exeter would become champions of England for the very first time.

Honourable mentions around the globe go to the FA Cup Final where Chelsea take on Arsenal at Wembley. Chelsea are aiming to complete the league and cup double. Arsenal will want to end a disappointing season by winning a record 13th FA Cup. There is more cup final football in Scotland and Spain as Celtic face Aberdeen and Barcelona play Alvaés. There is the Rugby Pro12 final with Munster challenging Scarlets. The second ODI takes place at the Ageas Bowl between England and South Africa, England lead 1-0 in the series. Kell Brook takes on Errol Spence Jr for the IBF welterweight title. However, with history on the horizon and two very well matched teams at Twickenham, the Premiership final will be great viewing. Enjoy.

Have a great day.
