Their high-powered offense and league-leading defense make it clear why they were the NBA’s best team during the regular season. Meanwhile, the Nikola Jokic led Nuggets needed seven games to beat the Clippers but know they can beat OKC, as evidenced by an impressive 140-127 win when the two sides met back in March. This should be a gripping series for a place in the Western Conference Finals against either the Golden State Warriors or the Minnesota Timberwolves.

With 2024 champion Tadej Pogačar choosing to skip this year’s race, a highly competitive field will vie for the pink jersey. 2023 winner Primož Roglič is viewed as the favourite entering the race, but he will face stiff competition from the likes of Spanish wonderkid Juan Ayuso, twin brothers Adam and Simon Yates, and rising Italian star Antonio Tiberi. The race remains in Albania for the rest of the weekend before traveling to Italy on Monday.
UFC: UFC 315: Muhammad vs. Della Maddalena

Meanwhile, Valentina Shevchenko marks the start of her second stint as UFC Women’s Flyweight champion with a title defense against Manon Fiorot. Also on the fight card, former Women’s Flyweight champion, Alexa Grasso, has a fight with Natália Silva, as Grasso works to earn another shot at the belt.
Premier League: Newcastle United v Chelsea

Newcastle United host Chelsea in a vital Premier League clash at St. James’ Park in Newcastle. Entering the week, the Magpies are fourth in the Premier League while Chelsea are fifth. Newcastle will enter this match looking to bounce back from a disappointing 1-1 draw with Brighton over the weekend. Meanwhile, Chelsea have a midweek match in the Conference League but will be riding the momentum of a huge win over Liverpool on Sunday.
