Luke Littler in action at the BetMGM Premier League

May comes to an end with some sensational sport. On Monday, the Minnesota Timberwolves and Oklahoma City Thunder continue their battle in the NBA Western Conference Finals. On Tuesday, the Edmonton Oilers and Dallas Stars face off in the next game of the NHL Western Conference Finals. That’s followed by Game 1 of the 2025 State of Origin Series on Wednesday. The Premier League Darts season comes to a close on Thursday and Friday sees the third-to-last stage of the 2025 Giro d’Italia.

The action doesn’t stop come the weekend. On Saturday, PSG and Inter Milan face off in the Champions League Final and Sunday brings with it the start of June and the fourth round of the French Open.

NBA: Minnesota Timberwolves v Oklahoma City Thunder

Monday 26th May 12:30AM GMT (27th)/7:30PM Local

Target Center, Minneapolis

The Minnesota Timberwolves host the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Target Center in Minneapolis for Game 4 of the NBA Western Conference Finals. The Thunder hold a 2-1 series lead entering this pivotal Game 4. While the Thunder raced out to a 2-0 lead, the Timberwolves responded with an emphatic 143-101 rout in Game 3 over the weekend. With Anthony Edwards leading the way, can the Timberwolves even the series? Or will newly crowned MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander put the Thunder one win away from their first Finals appearance since 2012?

NHL: Edmonton Oilers v Dallas Stars

Tuesday 27th May 12:00AM GMT (28th)/6:00PM Local

Rogers Place, Edmonton

The Edmonton Oilers host the Dallas Stars at Rogers Place in Edmonton for Game 4 of their NHL Western Conference Finals series. The Oilers hold a 2-1 series lead heading into Game 4. After the Stars took Game 1 in dominant fashion, the Oilers have responded with a vengeance, outscoring their opponents 9-1 across Games 2 and 3. The Stars will need to find a solution to their offensive woes if they want to avoid losing in the Conference Finals for a third straight season, while Edmonton looks well on their way to returning to the Stanley Cup Finals after last year’s Game 7 heartbreak.

State of Origin Series: Queensland Maroons v New South Wales Blues

Wednesday 28th May 10:10AM GMT/8:10PM Local

Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane

The 2025 State of Origin Series gets underway with the Queensland Maroons hosting the New South Wales Blues at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane. While New South Wales enter as defending series champions, Queensland are looking to extend their Game 1 winning streak to four, having won each of the last three opening games of the series. Daly Cherry-Evans once again captains the Maroons, while Isaah Yeo makes his captain’s debut for the Blues. Can New South Wales start their title defence the right way by snapping their lengthy Game 1 losing streak?

Thursday 29th May 6:00PM GMT/7:00PM Local

O2 Arena, London

The Play-offs of the 2025 Premier League Darts season take place at the O2 Arena in London. Luke Littler, Luke Humphries, Nathan Aspinall, and Gerwyn Price will vie for the top prize across a scintillating evening of darts. Littler enters as the defending champion and has continued to dominate the sport, winning a record six nights throughout the tournament. He finished runner-up on another three nights, cementing himself as the world’s best darts player right now. With Luke Humphries finishing a convincing second in the regular season standings, the darts world is preparing itself for a rematch of the 2024 Final.

Giro d’Italia: Giro d’Italia Day 19

Friday 30th May 10:20AM GMT/12:20PM Local

Biella, Italy

The 2025 Giro d’Italia continues with a 166km mountain stage between Biella and Champoluc. This stage brings with it some of the most intense climbs of the entire race, headlined by three long ascents made back-to-back-to-back without a break. It’s an extreme test of endurance and one that could define the leaderboard so late in the race. Entering the week, Isaac del Toro continues to hold the pink jersey and a lead of 1 minute and 20 seconds over Simon Yates. It remains to be seen if anyone can catch the young Mexican rider, but this stage could be the one that changes everything. The race concludes on Sunday, with a final stage that rides into Rome after a start in Vatican City.

UEFA Champions League: Paris Saint-Germain v Inter Milan

Saturday 31st May 7:00PM GMT/9:00PM Local

Allianz Arena, Munich

PSG face Inter Milan in the Final of the UEFA Champions League at the Allianz Arena in Munich. PSG return to the Champions League Final for the first time since 2020 as the French giants hunt for their first Champions League title in club history and their first European silverware since winning the Cup Winners’ Cup in 1996. Ousmane Dembélé has led the Parisians in goalscoring as the team hopes to complete a historic quadruple this season. Standing in their way are Inter Milan, who appear in their second Final in three years. Led by team captain Lautaro Martínez, Inter will look to bounce back from a heartbreaking second-place finish in Serie A and capture their first Champions League title since 2010.

Grand Slam (Tennis): French Open Day 8

Sunday 1st June 9:00AM GMT/11:00AM Local

Stade Roland Garros, Paris

The French Open continues at Roland-Garros in Paris as the tournament reaches the fourth round. All eyes are on Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, the top two men’s seeds, with many expecting the two players to reach the Final. However, Novak Djokovic must always be considered a threat, as the Serbian legend hunts for his 25th Grand Slam title and fourth Career Grand Slam. In the women’s draw, there are doubts if three-time defending champion Iga Świątek has what it takes to mount yet another title defence after a slow start to the year and the wealth of competition she faces in the form of Aryna Sabalenka, Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula, Jasmine Paolini and Mirra Andreeva.
