Edmonton’s power tandem of Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl has dominated the postseason and will be eager to do the same to the Panthers. However, the Panthers have their own secret weapon - Sam Bennett, who is the only player so far these playoffs to tally double-digit goals. Seeking the franchise’s first title since 1979 and their first under the Thunder moniker, Oklahoma City stormed to the league’s best regular-season record and their first Finals appearance since 2012. Led by MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the Thunder are the favourites in this matchup. However, they must get past the Pacers, who have relished playing the role of the underdog throughout the playoffs and appear in the Finals for the first time since 2000. Led by Pascal Siakam and Tyrese Haliburton, the Pacers are not a team to underestimate.

Premiership Rugby: Bath Rugby v Bristol Bears

Friday 6th June 6:45PM GMT/7:45PM Local

Led by Premiership-leading scorer Finn Russell and a top-ten try scorer in Will Muir, Bath have been nigh-on unbeatable. However, Bristol should not be counted out. Gabriel Ibitoye and Kalaveti Ravouvou have combined for 24 tries this season and account for half of Bath’s losses in the regular season. This will be a thrilling match, especially with the place in June 14th’s Final on the line.

They last reached the Final in 2023 and, given their impressive season in the Super League so far this season, will be eager to push for a historic double for the club. Both clubs boast talented try scorers, but will it be Hull’s Mikey Lewis or Warrington’s Matty Ashton who proves to be the difference maker? The match will be preceded by the Women’s Challenge Cup Final between four-time defending champions St. Helens and first-time finalists Wigan.
