Lucy Bronze in action for the England Women's Football team.

Get ready for some must-see sport. On Monday, the Seattle Mariners and Milwaukee Brewers begin a three-game series in MLB. On Tuesday, England face Italy in the Semifinals of the UEFA Women’s Championship. That’s followed by the start of the fourth Test between England and India on Wednesday. There are medals up for grabs in water polo and artistic swimming at the World Aquatics Championships on Thursday, and Friday sees the third-from-last stage of the Tour de France take place.

And the action doesn’t stop at the weekend. Australia take on the British & Irish Lions in the second of three Test Matches on Saturday and Formula One has the much anticipated Belgian Grand Prix on Sunday.

MLB: Seattle Mariners v Milwaukee Brewers

Monday 21st July 1:40AM GMT (22nd)/6:40PM Local

T-Mobile Park, Seattle

The Seattle Mariners host the Milwaukee Brewers at T-Mobile Park in Seattle. The Mariners are second in the American League West, having closed the gap between themselves and the division-leading Houston Astros after a relatively successful 2-1 series against the Astros over the weekend. The star of the Mariners has been catcher Cal Raleigh, who leads the MLB in home runs and recently won the Home Run Derby. Meanwhile, the Brewers are second in the National League Central and are keeping pace with the division-leading Chicago Cubs, the teams are only separated but tie-breaking procedures. Led by the reliable bat of Sal Frelick, the Brewers are hoping to capture their third consecutive division title.

UEFA Women’s European Championship: England Women v Italy Women

Tuesday 22nd July 7:00PM GMT/9:00PM Local

Stade de Genève,Genève

England take on Italy in the Semifinals of the UEFA Women’s Championship at Stade de Genève in Geneva. Defending champions England reached the Semifinals after a thrilling Quarter-final against Sweden, rallying from a 2-0 deficit before winning the match in a penalty shootout. Meanwhile, the 90th-minute heroics of Cristiana Girelli saw Italy topple Norway in the Quarterfinals and become the lowest-ranked Semifinalists since 24th-ranked Austria made the final four in 2017. It’s the first time since 2009 that England have faced Italy at the Championship, and while England are favourites, their performance against Sweden should warn them against underestimating Italy. The winner will face either Spain or Germany in Sunday’s Final.

Cricket in England: England v India (4th Test) Day 1

Wednesday 23rd July 10:00AM GMT/11:00AM Local

Old Trafford Cricket Ground, Manchester

England host India at Old Trafford in Manchester for the fourth Test of India’s five-Test tour of England. The hosts carry a 2-1 series lead after holding off India in a thrilling low-scoring third Test at Lord’s. Jofra Archer proved vital to England’s bowling efforts, taking three wickets in the second innings to disrupt India’s chase. However, England should not count on retaining the series trophy they have held since 2011 as India proved in the second Test that they are always ready to bounce back with a dominant performance. Can India even the series ahead of the final Test at the Oval?

World Aquatics Championships: World Aquatics Championships Day 14

Thursday 24th July 2:00AM GMT/10:00AM Local

Singapore Sports Hub, Singapore

The World Aquatics Championships continue at the Singapore Sports Hub in Singapore. The main highlights on Day 14 are the Men’s Water Polo medal matches and Women’s Artistic Swimming Duet Free Finals. Entering the week, Greece, Spain, Serbia, and Hungary will contest the Semifinals of the water polo. Meanwhile, China are expected to once again dominate the Women’s Duet Free event, although Great Britain are expected to mount a challenge as they did at last year’s championships and Olympics. Elsewhere, the high diving also gets underway on Day 14.

Tour de France: Tour de France Stage 19

Friday 25th July 11:30AM GMT/1:30PM Local

Albertville

The Tour de France continues with a 129.9km mountain stage between Albertville and La Plagne. Entering the week, defending champion Tadej Pogačar appears well on his way to his fourth Tour de France title as he holds a 4 minute and 13 seconds lead over 2024 runner-up Jonas Vingegaard. Stage 19 features five major climbs as the race continues through the Alps, testing the riders’ endurance and technical prowess. The race continues until Sunday, when the winner will be crowned following the traditional final stage through the streets of Paris. Can Pogačar hold on to claim yet another yellow jersey?

British & Irish Lions Tour: Australia v British & Irish Lions

Saturday 26th July 10:00AM GMT/8:00PM Local

Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne

Australia host the British & Irish Lions at the Melbourne Cricket Ground for the second of three Test Matches. The Lions thoroughly dominated the first Test Match over the weekend, winning 27-19. Tom Curry and Finn Russell were exceptional as the Lions put together their most complete performance of the tour so far. Barring injuries, Andy Farrell will likely make very few changes given the Lions’ success but will the Wallabies opt to shake things up drastically as they desperately seek to level the series?

Formula 1: Belgian Grand Prix

Sunday 27th July 1:00PM GMT/3:00PM Local

Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Stavelot

Formula One heads to Belgium for the Belgian Grand Prix at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Stavelot. After back-to-back wins in Austria and Great Britain, Lando Norris is now just eight points behind teammate Oscar Piastri in the Drivers’ Championship standings. With a sprint race also taking place in Belgium, this could be Norris’ chance to retake the lead for the Championship. Lewis Hamilton enters as the defending race champion and could tie Michael Schumacher’s long-standing race win record if he is able to repeat in Stavelot.
