Heading into the penultimate week of March there are some enticing events on the horizon. Monday sees an NHL Pacific Division matchup as the Los Angeles Kings take on the Calgary Flames. On Tuesday, the fight for superiority in the NBA continues as the Boston Celtics travel West to the Sacramento Kings. The final edition of the WGC Match Play gets underway on Wednesday. The new qualifying campaign for the UEFA European Championships begins this week as Italy host England on Thursday. This week sees action from the 2023 Miami Open.

To kick off the weekend, Premiership Rugby action takes place as Harlequins head to Saracens. To round out the week, a new season of the MotoGP World Championship begins on Sunday in Portugal.

NBA: Sacramento Kings v Boston Celtics

An elite matchup in the NBA takes place on Tuesday as the Boston Celtics travel to Sacramento to face off against the Kings. The Kings will be looking to extend their winning streak to four, whilst the Celtics will want to bounce back from their tightly contested defeat against the Utah Jazz last time out.

PGA & DP World Tour: WGC Dell Technologies Match Play Day 1

The action in the WGC Match Play begins on Wednesday, as 64 of the world’s best battle it out at the Austin Country Club. Last year’s winner, Scottie Scheffler, will be looking to defend his title, emboldened by his win in the recent THE PLAYERS Championship. Players looking to steal his crown include Rory McIlroy and Jon Rahm.

UEFA European Championships Qualifying: Italy v England

The road to Germany 2024 begins this week in the shape of the UEFA European Championships Qualifying stage. The Euro 2020 final matchup will be repeated as England travel to face holders Italy. They will both be looking to get off to a positive start on Thursday as they will be aware of the competitiveness of their group.

ATP Tour: Miami Open Day 3

The 2023 Miami Open runs throughout this week and into next, with both ATP and WTA Tour events taking place. Carlos Alcaraz and Iga Świątek both return to defend their respective titles from last year.

MotoGP: Portugal Grand Prix

The new season of the MotoGP World Championship gets underway this Sunday at the Algarve International Circuit for the Portugal Grand Prix. Last year’s winner Francesco Bagnaia will be searching for his Second title with the Ducati Lenovo Team, but he faces tough competition from the likes of Fabio Quartararo and Enea Bastianini.
