This Week in Sport: 20th January − 26th January 2025

There are some great sporting events taking place around the world this week. On Monday, Ohio State battle Notre Dame in the College Football Playoff National Championship, Tuesday sees Atlético Madrid play Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League, and India will host England for the first T20I of a five-match series on Wednesday. The Australian Open tennis Semifinals begin on Thursday, and Friday will see the Dallas Stars take on the Vegas Golden Knights in the NHL.
Wrapping up the week, Manchester City host Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday, and the Kansas City Chiefs will lock horns with the Buffalo Bills in the NFL AFC Conference Final on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame have had an impressive season with a 14-1 record and on a run of 13 straight wins. This should be a great climax to the College Football season.

NFL: Kansas City Chiefs v Buffalo Bills

The week ends with the Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Buffalo Bills on Sunday in the NFL AFC Conference Final at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs enter this game after a 23-14 win over the Houston Texans in the Divisional Round. Meanwhile, the Bills earned their spot in the Final with an exciting 27-25 win over the Baltimore Ravens. The NFC Conference Final between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Commanders will also take place on Sunday.
