MLB: Milwaukee Brewers v Philadelphia Phillies

Monday 1st September 8:10PM GMT/3:10PM Local

American Family Field, Milwaukee

The Milwaukee Brewers host the Philadelphia Phillies in a thrilling MLB game at American Family Field in Milwaukee. The Brewers possess the best record in baseball and are eagerly eyeing their first National League top seeding since 2018. Taking the mound for the Brewers will be rookie phenom Jacob Misiorowski, who continues to shine in his first big league season. Meanwhile, the NL East-leading Phillies will test Misiorowski with their power-hitting lineup. Kyle Schwarber is firmly locked into a race for the home run title and has also put himself in the conversation for NL MVP. However, the Phillies are 0-3 against the Brewers this season. Can they find a win tonight?

Cricket in England: England v South Africa (1st ODI)

Tuesday 2nd September 12:00PM GMT/1:00PM Local

Headingley Cricket Ground, Leeds

England host South Africa at Headingley in Leeds for the first of three ODI matches between the two sides. After a strong showing against Australia last month, South Africa head to England for another exciting tour. Rising star Sonny Baker will make his England debut after a eye-catching year so far. Meanwhile, Jacob Bethell is in the team ahead of taking the T20I captaincy reins against Ireland, later in the month. Meanwhile, South Africa welcome top ODI bowler Keshav Maharaj back in to the squad after he missed the series against Australia. Elsewhere, teen superstar Kwena Maphaka has been retained as cover for Kagiso Rabada, who continues to battle an ankle injury. South Africa beat England earlier this year in the ODI format in the ICC Champions Trophy, who will win this first match of three game series?

Grand Slam (Tennis): US Open 2025 Day 11

Wednesday 3rd September 3:00PM GMT/11:00AM Local

USTA Billie Jean King Tennis Center, New York City

The US Open continues at the USTA Billie Jean King Tennis Center in New York City. The mid-point of the second week sees the conclusion of the Quarterfinals. If defending champion Jannik Sinner wins on Monday, he will likely face his compatriot, and world number 10, Lorenzo Musetti, for a place in the Semifinals. In the women’s draw, Wednesday could see a rematch of this year's Wimbledon Final, with Iga Świątek and Amanda Anisimova set to face each other, if they both win their Monday matches. The tournament continues throughout the week, until the Women’s Final on Saturday and the Men’s Final on Sunday.

NFL: Philadelphia Eagles v Dallas Cowboys

Thursday 4th September 12:20AM GMT (5th)/8:20PM Local

Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia

The 2025 NFL season gets underway, with the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles facing the Dallas Cowboys at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. The Eagles will attempt to run it back with a largely unchanged roster, albeit without Brandon Graham for the first time since 2009 after the legendary defensive player’s retirement. Jalen Hurts will continue to throw to A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, while Saquon Barkley will terrify defences on the ground. Little change was needed, as the Eagles enter the season with amongst the best Championship odds. Meanwhile, the Dallas Cowboys enter the season hoping to bounce back from their 7-10 campaign last year. However, they will have to do it without four-time Pro Bowler and two-team First Team All-Pro star Micah Parsons, who the Cowboys traded in a shocking deal last week. Can the Cowboys surprise and turn the corner with a win against their rivals on the road?

Vuelta a España: Vuelta a España Day 13

Friday 5th September 9:50AM GMT/11:50AM Local

Cabezón de la Sal, Spain

The Vuelta a España continues, with Stage 13 taking riders from Cabezón de la Sal to Alto de L'Angliru. This brutal 202km mountain stage is expected to define the second half of the race. L'Angliru is a fan favourite location, and the climb is considered one of the toughest in professional cycling. At its steepest, the stage will reach a gradient of almost 24%. Entering the week, Torstein Træen remains the surprise race leader. However, his lead, which once exceeded two-and-a-half minutes, is down to just 37 seconds, after a monumental ride from pre-race favourite Jonas Vingegaard in Stage 9.

The Rugby Championship: New Zealand v South Africa

Saturday 6th September 7:05AM GMT/7:05PM Local

Eden Park, Auckland

The Rugby Championship continues, with New Zealand hosting South Africa at Eden Park in Auckland. A clash of the top-ranked teams in the world comes amid a highly competitive edition of the Rugby Championship. Despite a stunning loss to Argentina, New Zealand top the standings on points differential and enter as the top-ranked team in the world for the first time since 2021. Meanwhile, defending champions South Africa sit in third, having split their matches with Australia, but suffering a heavy enough loss in the first game to give them a negative points differential. Eden Park will be a challenge for the Springboks, with the hosts having gone undefeated at the venue since 1994. If they are to upset the All Blacks, they will need to find an improvement to the defence that was seen against Australia last month.

Formula 1: Italian Grand Prix

Sunday 7th September 1:00PM GMT/3:00PM Local

Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, Monza

The Formula One season continues with the Italian Grand Prix at the Monza Circuit. Oscar Piastri’s lead over his McLaren teammate Lando Norris has widened to 34 points after the events of the Dutch Grand Prix. Piastri’s race win, combined with Norris’ retirement, has opened up some breathing room at the top of the standings for the Australian driver. The season remains in Europe, heading to the iconic Monza Circuit. While Charles Leclerc enters as the defending race champion, the two McLarens will likely be pushing to improve on their 2-3 finish from last year. Can Piastri continue to pull away with back-to-back wins? Or can Norris bounce back to keep things interesting before the remaining 8 race weekends?
