Event of the Day: Boston Celtics v Cleveland Cavaliers

Our event of the day is Game 1 of the Eastern Conference final as NBA champions Cleveland Cavaliers continue their title defence against the Boston Celtics in Boston. It will be LeBron James seventh consecutive Eastern Conference final. James and Kyrie Irving scored an impressive combined 62 points in their last game of their series win against the Toronto Raptors. The Celtics overcame a seventh game thriller against the Washington Wizards beating them 115-105 in Game 7 on Monday night. 

Honourable mentions around the globe go to the IPL Eliminator as third place Sunrisers Hyderabad face fourth place Kolkata Knight Riders for a place in the semi-final against Mumbai Indians. There is a Premier League game at St Mary’s as Manchester United travel to play Southampton. NHL action in Ottawa as the Senators host the Pittsburgh Penguins in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference final. The Second Leg of the Championship semi-final playoff between Huddersfield and Sheffield Wednesday is tonight with the scores level at 0-0. However, Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Final at the TD Garden takes centre stage with a match up that promises to be a brilliant watch. Enjoy.
