Event of the Day: Premier League Darts Finals

Our event of the day is the conclusion of the Premier League Darts season at the O2 arena in London. Both the semi-finals and final will be decided tonight. The first semi-final is between Phil Taylor the six-time PL dart champion against Peter Wright, who out of all four semi-finalists has never won the PL title in his career. Taylor will be looking to end his final season in style with a seventh title. Reigning champion Michael Van Gerwen takes on 2015 PL champion Gary Anderson in the second semi-final. Van Gerwen got the better of his opponent 7-4 the last time they met this season. This promises to be a night filled with quality Darts, with three of the finalists making up the current top 3 in the world rankings and the fourth, Phil Taylor, the greatest darts player ever.

Honourable mentions around the globe go to NHL Western Conference Final Game 4 as the Anaheim Ducks who trail 2-1 in the series travel to Nashville to play the Predators. The European Golf tour continues with the first day of the Rocco Forte Open in Italy. The Italian Tennis Open moves closer to its conclusion with Rafael Nadal aiming for his eighth Rome win. Leicester City welcome second placed Tottenham Hotspur to the King Power stadium in the Premier League. However, the grand finale at the packed O2 arena is the one to watch with the Premier league crown on the line. History and memories will be made. Enjoy.

Have a great day.
