Event of the Day: Open Championship Day 4

Our event of the day...

is the final round of the 146th Open Championship at Royal Birkdale. Saturday saw a high scoring day on the course with South African Brendan Grace recording a 62 to break the long-standing men's major championship record for a round. The scoring average for the field on the day was a very low 69.03. Scoring is expected to be tougher today for the final round.

Jordan Spieth holds a commanding 3 short lead sitting on 11 under for the tournament, Matt Kuchar lies in second on 8 under and in a tie for third Brooks Koepka and Canadian Austin Connelly are on 5 under. Can anybody catch Spieth? Tune in tomorrow to catch an exciting finish to the Open and see the lifting of the Claret Jug.

It is the final day of the Tour de France, 103km from Montgeron to Paris and the Champs-Élysées. It is the last day of the World Para Athletics Championships in London with finals in the 100 m, 200 m, 400 m, 800 m, 1500 m, 5000 m and 4x 100 m as well as the Shot put, Javelin throw and the Long jump. It is the second semi-final of the CONCACAF Gold Cup as Mexico clash with Jamaica.
