Event of the Day: Wimbledon Day 7

Our event of the day is the busy second Monday of Wimbledon with all the last 16 matches of the men's and women’s singles. In the men's competition the draw is nicely poised with all four former champions - Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray - all still in contention. They hold the last 14 Wimbledon titles between them. The women's draw is completely wide open with it been extremely hard to predict the eventual winner. Today, Federer takes on Grigor Dimitrov, Nadal clashes with Gilles Müller and Djokovic faces Adrian Mannarino. Both Murray and Johanna Konta will be hoping to reach the quarter finals - the first time a British pair have reached the last eight in both the men's and women's competition since 1973. Murray is up against Benoît Paire and Johanna Konta takes on Caroline Garcia. In other select women's matches, Venus Williams plays against Ana Konjuh and Angelique Kerber clashes with Garbiñe Muguruza. It will be a great day at Wimbledon with so much to keep your eyes on.

Honourable mentions around the globe go to the 2017 Home Run Derby at Marlins Park in Miami - an exciting part of the MLB All-Star week. The fifth ODI game gets underway in Hambantota as Sri Lanka battle Zimbabwe - the series is poised at 2-2, so the winner takes the series.

Whatever you are watching, enjoy!
