Event of the Day: England v South Africa

The event of the day is the second twenty20 international cricket match between England and South Africa at Taunton. In the first game of the three match series England beat South Africa by nine wickets with 33 balls to spare in their chase. England put in a dominant display with Alex Hales and Jonny Bairstow making light work of chasing South Africa's total and their bowers impressed too - restricting South Africa to an under par 142. Jos Butler will be excited to make his first England appearance in his hometown and will be hoping to get a chance to make an impact with the bat in his own characteristic style. South Africa will be expecting a big reaction after their disappointing last appearance and any team that contains AB de Villiers will always be a threat. It is set up to be an exciting evening of international cricket.
