THE ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican is an LPGA Tour golf tournament held at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida, near Tampa Bay. Named for Hall of Fame golfer Annika Sörenstam, the event brings together leading professional women golfers to compete in individual stroke play, rather than a team format. Players take on the club’s championship course, a par-70 layout known for its refined greens and challenging shot-making demands. The tournament typically features four rounds, with the player recording the lowest total score crowned champion, subject to the LPGA Tour’s competition rules. Its field includes established tour stars, major champions and emerging players seeking valuable points and prize money late in the season. Gainbridge serves as title sponsor, while Pelican Golf Club provides the venue and local setting. Beyond the competition, the event highlights women’s professional golf and Sörenstam’s ongoing contribution to the sport. For fans following LPGA golf in Florida, THE ANNIKA at Pelican offers a chance to watch elite players compete on a demanding course and follow a significant stop on the tour calendar. Dates, player commitments and tournament details may vary from year to year.
