Event of the Day: Real Madrid v Atlético Madrid

Our event of the day is the Champions League semi-final first leg between Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid. The Madrid Derby kicks off the Champions League semi-finals off In style with the winner over two legs meeting Juventus or Monaco in the final in Cardiff on June 3rd. Atlético will be hoping that they can turn around the past three years of losing to Real in Europe, including two painful final defeats in 2014 and 2016.

Honourable mentions go to the nicely poised Day 3 of the Test Match between the West Indies and Pakistan in Barbados, the start of two exciting NBA playoff series with the Wizards at the Celtics and the Jazz at the Warriors respectively, Game 4 in the St Louis Blues versus Nashville Predators NHL playoff series, Ottawa Senators at Madison Square Garden to play the New York Rangers in a NHL Playoff Game 3 and the Delhi Daredevils take on the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League. However, a Champions League semi-final Derby from the Spanish Capital is not to be missed. Enjoy.
