Headingley Cricket Ground, Leeds
The first Test between England and India continues at Headingley in Leeds. Entering the fourth day, India are set to continue their second innings on 90/2 with an overall lead of 96 runs after scoring 471 in the first innings. England will have to ensure that Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant are not allowed to repeat their first innings batting heroics to make sure they set a chaseable target in the fourth innings. We could be set for another historic and exciting Headingley Test match that is concluded on Day 5 on Tuesday, as long as the Yorkshire weather behaves.
FIFA Club World Cup: ES Tunis v Chelsea
Tuesday 24th June 01:00AM GMT (25th)/9:00PM Local
Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia
ES Tunis face Chelsea in a vital game in the FIFA Club World Cup at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. A berth in the knockout stages is on the line as the two sides play for second place in Group D. Tunis, one of Africa’s most prestigious clubs, are eager to make their mark by shocking the recent UEFA Conference League champions after beating LAFC 1-0 to set up the stakes for this clash. Meanwhile, Chelsea’s reputation is on the line as they seek to bounce back from a disappointing 3-1 defeat to Brazilian powerhouse Flamengo. While a draw will see Chelsea through, don’t expect the London side to rest on their laurels. The tournament continues throughout the week, with the knockout stages beginning on Saturday.
European U21 Championship: Germany U21 v France U21
Wednesday 25th June 7:00PM GMT/9:00PM Local
Košická Futbalová Aréna, Košice
Germany face France in the Semifinals of the Under-21 European Championship at Košická Futbalová Aréna in Košice, Slovakia. Germany, led by Golden Boot frontrunner Nick Woltemade, survived an extra-time thriller against nine-man Italy in the Quarterfinals after finishing the group stage as the only team to win all three of their matches. The Germans are hoping to reach the Final in order to challenge for their fourth title, the most recent of which came in 2021. Meanwhile, France needed two late goals to overcome a strong Danish side to reach their first Semifinal since 2019. They are hoping to appear in their first Final since 2002. The winner of this match will face either England or the Netherlands in Saturday's Final.
MLB: Houston Astros v Philadelphia Phillies
Thursday 26th June 6:10PM GMT/1:10PM Local
Daikin Park, Houston
The MLB season throws up an exciting clash with the Houston Astros hosting the Philadelphia Phillies at Minute Maid Park in Houston. Thursday’s game marks the third and final game in a series between these two high-flying teams. The Astros enter the series having surged from a slow start to first place in the American League West Division. Meanwhile, the Phillies are in a fierce divisional battle with the New York Mets, and a strong showing against Houston could give the defending National League East champions the upper hand in that competition. Thursday’s matchup will pit Houston’s Hunter Brown, who possesses the second-best ERA in baseball, against the red-hot bats of Trea Turner and Kyle Schwarber.
Super League: Leeds Rhinos v Leigh Leopards
Friday 27th June 7:00PM GMT/8:00PM Local
Headingley Rugby Stadium, Leeds
Leeds Rhinos host Leigh Leopards in a Super League clash at Headingley Stadium in Leeds. Leeds enter this matchup fourth in the Super League table as they hunt for their first title since 2017. Led by Cameron Smith and Ash Handley, the Rhinos have amassed a decent 10-5 record, although it remains to be seen if they can move up the table towards Hull KR, the current league leaders. Meanwhile, Leigh enter the match one spot above, in third, as they continue their solid recent run in the Super League. Leeds won both games between the sides last season so the Leopards will be desperate for the victory.
UFC: UFC 317
Saturday 28th June 02:00AM GMT (29th)/7:00PM Local
T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas
UFC 317 takes place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event, concluding International Fight Week, is headlined by a bout between Ilia Topuria and Charles Oliveira for the vacant Lightweight Championship. Topuria (16-0) vacated the Featherweight belt to move up to challenge at Lightweight. Topuria is 1-0 in the weight class, having previously briefly moved up to Lightweight in 2022. Meanwhile, Oliveira (35-10, along with one no contest) looks to reclaim the belt he last held in 2022. However, Oliveira is 2-2 in his last four fights and hasn’t won back-to-back fights since 2022. Elsewhere on the card, Alexandre Pantoja defends his Flyweight belt against Kai Kara-France.
Formula 1: Austrian Grand Prix
Sunday 29th June 1:00PM GMT/3:00PM Local
Red Bull Ring, Spielberg
The 2025 Formula One season continues with the Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg. A chaotic Canadian Grand Prix earlier this month has suddenly made the Drivers’ Championship all the more interesting. 62 points separate Oscar Piastri in first and George Russell in fourth. Furthermore, defending champion Max Verstappen is just 21 points behind second-place Lando Norris after Norris DNF’d in Montreal. Russell poses a threat to further shake up the standings following his win in Canada as he heads to Austria as the defending race champion. Will the gap at the top of the standings continue to shrink, or can the McLaren duo of Piastri and Norris move ahead again?
