NBA: Oklahoma City Thunder v Indiana Pacers
Monday 16th June 12:30AM GMT (17th)/7:30PM Local
Paycom Center, Oklahoma City
The Oklahoma City Thunder host the Indiana Pacers in Game 5 of the NBA Finals at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City. A thrilling Finals thus far sees the two sides enter this pivotal matchup tied at 2-2. Tyrese Hailburton and the Pacers have done an impressive job of slowing down league MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the high-flying Thunder. However, the Thunder’s home advantage may play a crucial role in deciding the series - when playing at the Paycom Center, the Thunder have lost just eight times this season. However, with their Game 1 win, the Pacers have already proven they aren’t daunted by this statistic.
NHL: Florida Panthers v Edmonton Oilers
Tuesday 17th June 12:00AM GMT (18th)/8:00PM Local
Amreant Bank Arena, Sunrise
The Florida Panthers host the Edmonton Oilers in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals. The Panthers are one win away from repeating as NHL champions after their 5-2 win in Game 5 over the weekend. However, closing out a series has sometimes been a problem for Florida during this Stanley Cup run, having been pushed to seven games by the Toronto Maple Leafs in Round 2. Can the Oilers, driven by superstar tandem Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid, force a Game 7 and keep their dreams of lifting the Stanley Cup for the first time since 1990 alive?
State of Origin Series: Queensland Maroons v New South Wales Blues
Wednesday 18th June 10:10AM GMT/6:10PM Local
Perth Stadium, Perth
The Queensland Maroons face the New South Wales Blues at Optus Stadium in Perth for Game 2 of the 2025 State of Origin Series. The Blues made a dominant start to their title defence in Game 1, cruising to a 18-6 victory behind a pair of tries from Zac Lomax. It marked the Blues’ first Game 1 win since 2021 and puts the team in a great position to successfully defend the title for the first time since 2019. Can the Maroons bounce back, or will New South Wales be claiming the series in Perth?
Flat Racing: Ascot Gold Cup
Thursday 19th June 3:20PM GMT/4:20PM Local
Ascot Racecourse, Ascot
The prestigious Gold Cup is run on Day 3 of Royal Ascot at Ascot Racecourse. A new winner of the Gold Cup will be crowned following the retirement of 2024 champion Kyprios last month. As a result, Kyprios’ stablemate, Illinois, who has five wins and four runner-up finishes in 11 race starts, enters as the betting favourite. However, don’t count out Trawlerman, who finished second last year and enters the race with the second-best betting odds.
Cricket in England: England v India (1st Test) Day 1
Friday 20th June 10:00AM GMT/11:00AM Local
Headingley Cricket Ground, Leeds
England face India in the 1st Test of the 2025 Tendulkar-Anderson Trophy at Headingley Cricket Ground in Leeds. England look to continue their strong record in this home based series, having retained the trophy since 2011. They will once again look to veteran Joe Root, who was the top run-scorer in the 2023-25 ICC World Test Championship and shows no sign of slowing down at age 34. Meanwhile, India are undergoing a monumental changing of the guard as they prepare for their first Test series since the international retirements of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. Can Shubman Gill’s side claim the trophy for the first time since 2007?
ATP Tour: Queen’s Club Championships Day 6
Saturday 21st June 11:30AM GMT/12:30PM Local
The Queen's Club, London
The ATP Queen’s Club Championships continue with the Singles Semifinals at the Queen’s Club in London. The tournament begins on Monday and continues until the Final on Sunday. Recently crowned French Open champion and 2023 Queen’s Club winner Carlos Alcaraz enters as the number one seed. However, he will have to overcome the likes of Jack Draper, Ben Shelton, Holger Rune, and 2023 runner-up Alex de Minaur if he wants to claim another title. All 32 players at the tournament will be eager for a strong showing, given that Wimbledon is just two weeks away.
MotoGP: Italy Grand Prix
Sunday 22nd June 12:00PM GMT/2:00PM Local
Mugello Circuit, Scarperia e San Piero
The 2025 MotoGP season continues with the Grand Prix of Italy at the Mugello Circuit in Scarperia e San Piero. The season so far has been defined by the thrilling battle between brothers Marc and Alex Márquez. Marc holds a 32-point lead over his brother heading into Italy as the living legend looks for his seventh World Championship and first since 2019. However, Mugello has never been Márquez’s favourite track, and he has only won once there, back in 2014, at the MotoGP level. In recent years, it has been Marc’s Ducati teammate, two-time World Champion Francesco Bagnaia, who has dominated the event. The Italian rider enters as the three-time defending champion and desperately needs the points as he mounts a longshot title chase from a distant third place in the standings.
