On Thursday, a new PREM Rugby season gets underway as Sale Sharks take on Gloucester, and on Friday, the Ryder Cup begins between Europe and the United States.

The action continues over the weekend with two thrilling Finals. On Saturday, Geelong meet Brisbane in the AFL Grand Final, and on Sunday, the Asia Cup concludes.

NFL: Baltimore Ravens v Detroit Lions

Monday 22nd September 12:15AM GMT (23rd)/8:15PM Local

M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore

The Baltimore Ravens host the Detroit Lions at the M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore to conclude Week 3 of the NFL season. The preseason Super Bowl favourites, the Ravens enter this matchup 1-1, having lost in an instant classic to the Buffalo Bills in Week 1, before thoroughly dominating the Browns in Week 2. Lamar Jackson helms a potent offense starring Derrick Henry, Rashod Bateman, and Mark Andrews. However, key injuries on the defensive side of the ball could leave the Ravens vulnerable. Meanwhile, the Lions are also 1-1 after being mauled by the Green Bay Packers in Week 1, before dropping 52 points on the Chicago Bears last week. Jared Goff continues to look ageless, throwing six touchdowns through the first two games of the season. However, the Lions face a daunting task - they have not beaten the Ravens since 2005, which is their only win against the Ravens franchise. Will they be able to change their fortunes this week?

MLB: Toronto Blue Jays v Boston Red Sox

Tuesday 23rd September 11:07PM GMT/7:07PM Local

Rogers Centre, Toronto

The Toronto Blue Jays host the Boston Red Sox in a crucial MLB divisional matchup at Rogers Centre in Toronto. The Blue Jays have formally clinched a playoff spot, but a first-round bye and their first division title since 2015 are still up for grabs. With Bo Bichette and George Springer hitting over .300, the Blue Jays are firmly prepared for a deep postseason run. Meanwhile, the Red Sox are well in the mix of the American League Wild Card race. Can Jarren Duran and Trevor Story, the stars of the Red Sox’s improbable season, power the team to their first postseason berth since 2021?

WTA Tour: China Open Day 1

Wednesday 24th September 2:00AM GMT/10:00AM Local

National Tennis Center, Beijing

The China Open begins at the National Tennis Center in Beijing. Many of the best women’s tennis players are headed to the Chinese capital for this WTA 1000 event, with the field headlined by world number two, Iga Świątek, and defending champion and world number three, Coco Gauff. Other intriguing names in the draw include Amanda Anisimova, Mirra Andreeva, and Chinese star Zheng Qinwen. The event marks the penultimate WTA 1000 event of the season, and six spots are still up for grabs in the WTA Finals in November. Will Gauff defend her title? Can Świątek, the 2023 champion, continue her excellent season? Or will the winner come from the field of title-hungry players?

PREM Rugby: Sale Sharks v Gloucester Rugby

Thursday 25th September 6:45PM GMT/7:45PM Local

Salford Community Stadium, Manchester

Sale Sharks host Gloucester in the opening match of the 2025-26 PREM Rugby season. Sale enter the season having finished third last year before falling in the Semifinals to Leicester. The Sharks have seen a moderate turnover in the squad, headlined by the retirements of Josh Beaumont and Tommy Taylor, as well as the departure of Ross Harrison. They hope that the additions of South African veteran Jacques Vermeulen and intriguing Scottish youth international Reuben Logan will help contribute to another strong season. Meanwhile, Gloucester look to build on a season where they finished just two points outside the playoffs. Despite seeing 19 players leave the club, Gloucester boast two huge signings - Will Joseph and Ross Byrne. Byrne, especially, will be vital to Gloucester’s success this season, having established himself as a club legend at Leinster. Gloucester could challenge for the playoffs, but their overhauled roster will have to click almost immediately to stand a chance.

Ryder Cup: Ryder Cup Day 1

Friday 26th September 11:10AM GMT/7:10AM Local

Bethpage Black Course, Farmingdale

The 2025 Ryder Cup tees off at the Bethpage Black Course in Farmingdale. Europe enter as the defending champions, but face a significant challenge as they have not won a US-hosted Ryder Cup since 2012. However, captain Luke Donald is hoping that a superstar roster that includes Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose, Tommy Fleetwood, Shane Lowry, and Jon Rahm can end the 13-year drought. Meanwhile, Keegan Bradley’s American roster will look to mount a dominant title challenge on home soil. Led by Scottie Scheffler and J.J. Spaun, the home team will enter with the knowledge that recent history favours them. Day 1 will see foursomes in the morning session and fourball matches in the afternoon session. Can Europe defend their title?

AFL: Geelong Cats v Brisbane Lions

Saturday 27th September 4:30AM GMT/2:30PM Local

Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne

Geelong take on Brisbane in the 2025 AFL Grand Final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Geelong, whose 2024 season ended at the hands of Brisbane, finished the 2025 regular season as runners up to minor premiers Adelaide. However, it was the Cats who dominated the Finals, easily beating Brisbane and Hawthorn to reach their first Grand Final since 2022. Geelong can win their 11th AFL premiership, making them the seventh franchise to reach that milestone. Meanwhile, defending champions Brisbane finished third in the regular season. After their opening Finals loss to Geelong, the Lions easily beat Gold Coast and Collingwood to appear in their third consecutive Grand Final. A win for Brisbane would be their fifth all-time Premiership and make them the first back-to-back Premiers since Richmond in 2020. However, with Coleman Medal winner Jeremy Cameron leading the way, the Cats are favourites entering this matchup. Can Brisbane defy the odds? Or will Geelong cap their fantastic season with a title?

Asia Cup (Cricket): India v Pakistan

Sunday 28th September 2:30PM GMT/6:30PM Local

Dubai International Stadium, Dubai

The 2025 Asia Cup concludes at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai. Entering the week, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka are all vying for a place in the Final. Bangladesh and India have already secured wins against Sri Lanka and Pakistan, respectively, meaning that it’s all to play for this week. The key match to determining the final will likely be when Pakistan takes on Bangladesh on Thursday, especially given Bangladesh’s in-form batting duo of Towhid Hridoy and Litton Das. India, led by a near-unstoppable leadoff batting tandem of Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill, are the favourites to win the tournament, and would become the first two-time T20 Asia Cup champions, if they do so (adding to their 7 ODI Asia cup titles).
