Event of the Day: Spanish F1 Grand Prix

Our event of the day is the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix from the Circuit De Barcelona-Catalunya in Barcelona. The battle between Ferrari and Mercedes to be the quickest car continues with Lewis Hamilton starting on Pole and Championship leader Sebastian Vettel in 2nd. The Silver Arrows have had their drivers on the top step of the Spanish podium two of the last three years - Vettel will be looking to change that and claim his first victory at this circuit since 2011.

Honourable mentions around the globe go to the last ever Premier League game at White Hart Lane as Tottenham Hotspur face Manchester United. The NBA Western Conference Finals start as the San Antonio Spurs travel to Oakland to face the Golden State Warriors. Game 2 of the NHL Western conference Finals at the Honda Center in Anaheim sees the Nashville Predators, who won Game 1, come up against the Anaheim Ducks. However, the Formula 1 from Spain will be intriguing and exciting viewing. Enjoy.
