Event of the Day: Milwaukee Brewers v Pittsburgh Pirates

Our event of the day...

is the MLB clash between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park. These National League Central rivals are both very much in the mix to still win the division and reach the postseason, with the Brewers just 1.5 games behind and the Pirates 4.5 games behind the leading Chicago Cubs.

It should be a great pitching duel with Gerrit Cole for the Pirates, who has a 10-8 record for the season so far, opposingJimmy Nelson for the Brewers, who has a 9-6 record. For the Pirates keep an eye on Andrew McCutchen and Josh Harrison, on the Brewers team look out for Ryan Braun and Manny Piña. The Pirates have dominated the Brewers this season leading the matches between them by winning 8 and losing just 4 games - however the Brewers did win 3-1 yesterday.
