Our event of the day
Is the Premier League
fixture between Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur at the King Power Stadium in Leicester. The hosts have had a mixed start to the season and currently sit 12th in the table while the visitors find themselves just outside the Champions League qualifying positions in 5th place. Leicester squandered a one-goal lead in their last league game and held on to a 1-1 draw away at West Ham as Tottenham came from behind to salvage a disappointing 1-1 draw with West Brom at Wembley.
This fixture last season produced plenty of goals but unfortunately for the Foxes, six of the seven goals were scored by their opponents as Harry Kane ran away with the match ball after netting four excellent goals. Four of Spurs’ goals came in the final half an hour as the hosts, managed by Craig Shakespeare at the time, collapsed in front of their own fans. Claude Puel will be looking to avenge that shocking result in his third home game for the East Midlands club. Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping to orchestrate a Tottenham win after they have failed to win either of their last two matches and trying to avoid the third straight away defeat in a row. It should be a great night of Premier League football.
around the globe go to the NBA
clash as the Cleveland Cavaliers host the Miami Heat at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. The Cavs are 3rd in the NBA Eastern Conference but have some catching up to do if they are to challenge the Boston Celtics for the number one seed for the playoffs. The Heat are currently sitting in the 8th spot in the Eastern Conference and a big win could see them move up the standings. As well as the event of the day, there are plenty of other football matches across Europe, Bordeaux and Saint Etienne meet in Ligue 1
while Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United make the trip down south to face a Watford side who are in good form. In the EFL Championship
Derby County take on Ipswich Town. There are ten NHL
games on show as the Vegas Golden Knights and the Dallas Stars face off at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Whatever you’re watching, enjoy.
