Tammelan Stadion, located in the city of <a href="/ctiy-tampere">Tampere</a>, <a href="/country-finland">Finland</a>, is a multi-purpose stadium primarily used for <a href="/sport-football">football</a> matches. With a capacity of 5,050 seats, this stadium is the home ground of the local football team, Tampere United. Tammelan Stadion was built in 1931 and has since undergone several renovations, including the addition of a modern artificial turf. The stadium is also equipped with floodlights, making it possible for matches to be held in the evening. In addition to football matches, Tammelan Stadion has also hosted various athletic events and was even used as a training ground for the 1952 <a href="/sport-olympics/competition-summer-olympics">Summer Olympics</a>.
