Sumo Wrestling is a traditional Japanese sport that involves two wrestlers competing in a circular ring called a dohyō. The sport dates back to ancient times and has evolved into a highly respected sport in Japan. The most prestigious sumo competitions are the Grand Sumo Tournaments, or Honbasho, of which six events are held a year in Japan. Some of the most successful sumo wrestlers in history include Hakuhō Shō, Taihō Kōki, and Chiyonofuji Mitsugu, who have achieved legendary status in the sport.
