Known as “Blessed,” Holloway competes in the <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-mixed-martial-arts/competition-ufc">UFC</a> and is celebrated for his high-volume striking, endurance, and performances against elite opponents. He won the featherweight title by defeating José Aldo at <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-mixed-martial-arts/competition-ufc">UFC</a> 212 in 2017 and successfully defended it several times. In April 2024, Holloway captured the <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-mixed-martial-arts/competition-ufc">UFC</a> BMF title with a last-second knockout of Justin Gaethje at <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-mixed-martial-arts/competition-ufc">UFC</a> 300, held at <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/stadium-t-mobile-arena">T-Mobile Arena</a> in <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/city-las-vegas">Las Vegas</a>. His career highlights also include memorable bouts with Alexander Volkanovski, Brian Ortega, and <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-mixed-martial-arts/team-dustin-poirier">Dustin Poirier</a>, as well as multiple <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-mixed-martial-arts/competition-ufc">UFC</a> performance and Fight of the Night bonuses. Holloway has trained in <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/city-hawaii">Hawaii</a> with local coaches and teammates, including at Gracie Technics, while preparing for the demands of professional competition. Because <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-mixed-martial-arts/competition-ufc">UFC</a> events take place at venues around the world, he has no dedicated stadium; his fights are staged in arenas selected for each event. This profile covers Holloway’s competitions, titles, training background, and major career achievements.
