The <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-football/team-us-virgin-islands">US Virgin Islands</a> Women's Football Team, also known as the Virgin Islands Soccer Association Women's <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-american-football/team-national-team">National Team</a>, is a passionate group of female athletes who represent the <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-baseball/team-united-states">United States</a> territory in international football competitions. Founded in 1991, the team competes in the CONCACAF Women's Championship and the Caribbean Football Union Women's Cup. While they have yet to qualify for the <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-football/competition-fifa-womens-world-cup">FIFA Women's World Cup</a>, the team has had numerous successes on the regional level, including a third-place finish in the CFU Women's Cup in 2018. The current team roster boasts talented players such as Barbara 'Babsy' Thomas, who was named CFU Women's Player of the Year in 2017. The team plays their home matches at the <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/stadium-raymond-e-guishard-technical-center">Raymond E. Guishard Technical Center</a> in <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/city-st-croix">St. Croix</a>, a modern stadium with a capacity of 3,000.
