The top scorer award for the competition is named after former <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-football/team-rangers">Rangers</a> player and <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-cricket/team-scotland-1">Scotland</a> international, Ally McCoist, and has been won by legends such as Henrik Larsson and Kris Boyd. The <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-football/competition-scottish-cup">Scottish Cup</a> is a highly prestigious and coveted title, often seen as the pinnacle of Scottish football.
