New Zealand Prime Minister's XI Explore the latest New Zealand Prime Minister's XI Cricket fixture information at your fingertips

The <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-cricket/team-new-zealand-1">New Zealand</a> Prime Minister’s XI is not a permanent domestic cricket team with a regular season, fixed squad or home ground; the name refers to an occasional representative side associated with a prime ministerial match or cricket event. Its players and opponents depend on the occasion, and selections may draw on New Zealand’s professional and domestic cricket talent. Unlike established teams in competitions such as the <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-cricket/competition-plunket-shield">Plunket Shield</a>, <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-cricket/competition-super-smash">Super Smash</a> and Ford Trophy, it does not hold a regular place in those tournaments, so it has no league titles or ongoing competition record to compare. There is also no single stadium designated as its home venue: matches are arranged at grounds chosen for the event, rather than played at a permanent base. Well-known <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-cricket/team-new-zealand-1">New Zealand</a> cricket venues, including <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/stadium-eden-park">Eden Park</a> in <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/stadium-basin-reserve">Basin Reserve</a>5, the <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/stadium-basin-reserve">Basin Reserve</a> in <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/country-new-zealand/city-wellington">Wellington</a> and <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/stadium-hagley-oval">Hagley Oval</a> in <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/country-new-zealand/city-christchurch">Christchurch</a>, host international and domestic fixtures, but should not be described as the XI’s home ground without confirmation for a specific match. For fans researching the <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-cricket/team-new-zealand-1">New Zealand</a> Prime Minister’s XI, the most useful details are the date, opposition, venue and confirmed player list for the particular fixture.
