Kotli Lions are a franchise cricket team representing Kotli in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and are associated with the Kashmir Premier League (KPL), a T20 competition featuring regional and overseas players. The team made its KPL debut in the league’s inaugural 2021 season, competing against sides such as Rawalakot Hawks, Mirpur Royals and Muzaffarabad Tigers. Kotli Lions’ squad has included experienced Pakistani cricketers, with players such as Kamran Akmal and Khurram Manzoor listed among the team’s notable names in the inaugural campaign; team selections can vary from season to season. The Lions have not won a KPL championship, so their record is best followed through season-specific results, fixtures and squad announcements. Kotli is the team’s home city, while KPL matches are staged at designated tournament venues rather than necessarily at a permanent home ground. For supporters looking for Kotli Lions cricket updates, useful information includes match schedules, player statistics, results and league standings. The franchise brings Kotli representation to Pakistan’s regional T20 cricket scene and gives local fans a team to follow in the Kashmir Premier League.
