Firat Arslan is a German professional boxer of Turkish heritage, best known for competing in the cruiserweight division and winning the WBA world cruiserweight championship. Born in Friedberg, Germany, in 1970, Arslan built a long career in the professional ring, facing international opponents in title fights and major boxing events. One of his most notable victories came in October 2007, when he defeated former world champion Virgil Hill to claim the WBA title. He held the championship until November 2008, when he lost to Guillermo Jones. Arslan is an individual athlete rather than a boxing team, so there are no teammates or team roster to list; his achievements are measured through his bouts, titles and professional record. Boxing also differs from stadium-based team sports: Arslan has no permanent home stadium, and his fights have been staged at event venues selected by promoters. For sports fans researching Firat Arslan’s competitions, awards and career highlights, his world-title success and extended presence in professional boxing are central to his profile. His name remains associated with German boxing and the international cruiserweight scene.
