The <a href="/sport-basketball/team-long-lions">Long-Lions</a> Basketball team is a professional <a href="/sport-basketball">basketball</a> team based in <a href="/ctiy-shanghai">Shanghai</a>, <a href="/country-china">China</a>. They were founded in 1998 and are currently a member of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA). The team is owned by the Chinese media company, Minhang District People's Government. The Long-Lions have had a successful history, appearing in the CBA playoffs for nine consecutive seasons and winning the CBA championship in 2003. The team plays their home games at the Yuanshen Sports Centre Gymnasium, which has a capacity of 4,352 spectators. The Long-Lions have a strong roster of both Chinese and international players, including former <a href="/sport-basketball/competition-nba">NBA</a> player, MarShon Brooks.
