They compete in the KBO League, which is the highest level of baseball in the country. The team has a long history, having been established in 2008 under the name "Nexen Heroes" before being renamed to "Kiwoom Heroes" in 2020. The Heroes have made a name for themselves in the league, winning their first KBO Championship in 2020 and finishing as runner-ups in 2021. The team boasts a talented roster of players, including former Major League Baseball pitcher Eric Hacker and two-time KBO All-Star shortstop Kim Ha-seong. The <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-baseball/team-kiwoom-heroes">Kiwoom Heroes</a> play their home games at the <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/stadium-gocheok-sky-dome">Gocheok Sky Dome</a>, a state-of-the-art stadium with a capacity of over 17,000 seats.
