The Tigers also claimed the 2011–12 BBL Championship, establishing Liverpool as a notable name in British basketball during their time in the league. Their home games were played at Greenbank Sports Academy, a Liverpool venue that hosted top-level basketball and local supporters. The club’s success was built by its team roster and coaching staff, with players contributing to memorable performances in domestic competition. Although the Mersey Tigers are no longer active, basketball continues across Liverpool through local clubs, development programmes and competitions connected with Basketball England.
