The Qatar Masters is a professional golf tournament held in Doha, Qatar, and a long-standing event on the DP World Tour. First played in 1998, it is contested by individual golfers rather than teams, with international players competing in a 72-hole stroke-play format. The tournament is hosted at Doha Golf Club, a championship venue known for its desert setting, landscaped fairways, and challenging greens. Its course tests accuracy and course management, while changing wind conditions can add difficulty throughout the competition. The Qatar Masters has featured many prominent names in golf, including past champions Ernie Els, Adam Scott, Sergio Garcia, Henrik Stenson, and Justin Rose. As one of the region’s best-known annual golf events, it brings elite tour competition to the Middle East and gives fans the chance to follow world-class players across four rounds. Coverage typically includes tournament results, player performances, tee times, and course information, making the Qatar Masters a key event for golf followers seeking DP World Tour news and updates from Doha.
