The Philadelphia Phillies, also known as the Phils, are a Major League Baseball team based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They are part of the National League (NL) East division and have been playing since 1883, making them the oldest continuous, one-name, one-location franchise in all of professional American sports. The team has won two World Series championships (in 1980 and 2008) and has made it to the playoffs 14 times. Some notable players who have donned the Phillies uniform include Mike Schmidt, Steve Carlton, and Chase Utley. The team plays their home games at Citizens Bank Park, a state-of-the-art stadium with a seating capacity of over 42,000. Despite some ups and downs, the Phillies have a dedicated fan base and continue to be a formidable force in the competitive world of baseball.

The New York Mets are a professional baseball team based in Flushing, New York. Established in 1962, the Mets are members of the National League (NL) East Division and have won two World Series Championships in 1969 and 1986. The Mets are known for their home stadium, Citi Field, which opened in 2009 and can hold up to 41,922 fans. The team has a fierce rivalry with their cross-town rivals, the New York Yankees, and their annual "Subway Series" games are always highly anticipated. The Mets continue to compete at a high level and have claimed numerous awards and accolades, including multiple NL Cy Young Awards and Silver Slugger Awards for their players.
