The London International Horse Show is one of the United Kingdom’s leading indoor equestrian events, bringing world-class riders and horses to ExCeL London each December. Formerly held at Olympia, the show moved to its current venue in 2021, where purpose-built arenas host several days of international competition and family entertainment. Its sporting programme features major disciplines including show jumping, dressage and driving, with highlights such as the FEI Jumping World Cup and FEI Dressage World Cup. Competitors represent countries from across the world, while British riders regularly take on leading international combinations in front of a home crowd. In equestrian sport, the horse and rider form a competing partnership, so results depend on both athletic ability and precise teamwork. ExCeL London provides indoor facilities for the competition arenas, spectators and event activities, making it a central part of the show’s modern setting. Beyond elite sport, the programme often includes displays and demonstrations, offering visitors an introduction to different equestrian disciplines. For fans searching for London horse show dates, venue information, riders and results, the London International Horse Show is a major fixture on the winter sporting calendar.
