The Phillip Island Trophy was a women’s professional tennis tournament held at Melbourne Park in Melbourne, Australia, from February 13 to 19, 2021. Staged as a WTA 250 event during the Australian Open period, it gave players an additional opportunity to compete after completing quarantine arrangements. Despite its name, the tournament was played on the courts at Melbourne Park, rather than on Phillip Island, and was not a team competition. The draw featured singles players and doubles partnerships from the international women’s tour, including top-ranked competitors seeking match practice and ranking points. Russian player Daria Kasatkina won the singles title, defeating Czech finalist Marie Bouzková in the championship match. The event formed part of a series of tournaments organized in Melbourne ahead of the 2021 Australian Open, helping provide competitive tennis during a disrupted season. For tennis fans searching for Phillip Island Trophy results, players, venue information, or WTA tournament history, the event is notable for its Melbourne Park setting and Kasatkina’s title-winning run.
