The Copernicus Cup is an annual indoor athletics meeting held in Toruń, Poland, honoring astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus, who was born in the city. Staged at Arena Toruń, a modern indoor venue with a 200-metre track, the competition brings together elite athletes from Poland and around the world. Rather than a team-versus-team fixture, the Copernicus Cup features individual events in which runners, jumpers and throwers compete for event titles and valuable season results. Its program can include sprint and middle-distance races, hurdles, high jump, pole vault, and shot put, with events varying by edition. The meeting is part of the World Athletics Indoor Tour and has attracted prominent international competitors, as well as leading Polish athletes, giving fans a chance to follow both established champions and emerging talent. For athletics supporters, the Copernicus Cup offers a concentrated schedule of high-level indoor track and field in one of Europe’s notable athletics arenas. Dates, event lineups and participating athletes change each year, so visitors should consult the official meet information for the latest program and ticket details.
