The Botswana Continental Tour is an international athletics meeting in Gaborone, Botswana, staged as part of World Athletics’ Continental Tour series. The competition brings together elite and developing athletes representing Botswana and other nations, with events typically covering track and field disciplines such as sprints, middle-distance races, hurdles, relays, jumps and throws. Rather than competing as club teams in a league format, athletes take part in individual events and represent their countries or athletics clubs. The meeting gives local competitors an opportunity to race on home soil while welcoming international performers seeking strong competition and qualifying performances. Events in the tour’s Botswana programme have been held at the Botswana National Stadium in Gaborone, a major venue for athletics and other sporting occasions. Schedules, event categories and participating athletes may vary by edition, so fans should check the latest organiser and World Athletics updates for confirmed entry lists, results and timings.
