The World Rugby U20 Championship is an international men’s rugby union tournament featuring national teams made up of eligible players under 20. First held in 2008, it has become a major competition for emerging talent and a pathway to senior international rugby. The tournament typically brings together 12 nations, with teams progressing through pool matches and placement or knockout games; participating countries and the format can vary by edition. Players represent their national sides in 15-a-side rugby, showcasing skills in tackling, passing, kicking and set pieces. Many U20 Championship graduates later play for senior national teams and professional clubs, making the event a useful showcase for future stars. The host country and stadiums change from year to year, so match venues, dates and ticket information should be checked against the schedule for the specific edition. Coverage of the U20 Championship includes team news, player profiles, fixtures, results and venue details, helping rugby fans follow the competition from the opening round to the final.
