The EUROSAF Para Sailing European Championship is an international sailing competition that brings together athletes with disabilities to race for European titles. Competitors represent their national sailing teams, with individual sailors or crews competing according to the event’s boat classes and entry format. Unlike a stadium-based sport, para sailing takes place on a designated course on open water, where wind, waves and tactical decisions shape each race. The host venue changes between editions, and the championship may be staged at a coastal sailing centre equipped to support racing and accessible shore facilities. Events can include classes such as the 2.4mR, depending on the programme for that year; class schedules, eligibility rules and participating countries should be checked against the official edition information. Races are overseen by officials under sailing regulations, and results are determined by performance across the scheduled fleet races. For fans, the EUROSAF Para Sailing European Championship offers a chance to follow elite European para sailors, national-team representation and adaptive sailing competition. Venue details, race dates, entry lists and results are published by the event organisers and the relevant national sailing federations.
