European Rowing Junior Championships Explore the latest European Rowing Junior Championships information from Rowing Regattas at your fingertips

The European Rowing Junior Championships is an annual international regatta where national teams from across Europe compete in junior rowing, showcasing emerging athletes who are generally under 19. Organized by European Rowing, the event features crews representing their countries in boat classes such as single sculls, double sculls, pairs, fours and eights, with competition categories and entries set for each edition. Races take place on a dedicated rowing course, usually a straight, buoy-marked stretch of water with multiple lanes, rather than in a conventional stadium. The host venue changes between editions, so spectators should check the current championship schedule for location, race times and access information. Junior rowers compete through heats and, where applicable, repechages and finals, with results determined by finishing time over the championship distance. The regatta offers a valuable international stage for young athletes, coaches and national federations, while giving fans the chance to follow future stars of European rowing. For the latest teams, athlete entries, event timetable, venue details and official results, consult the championships’ current event information and European Rowing updates.
