The Jefferson <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-basketball/team-lehigh-1">Lehigh</a> Valley Classic was a professional golf tournament on the <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-golf/competition-pga-tour-champions">PGA Tour Champions</a>, bringing leading players aged 50 and over to the <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-basketball/team-lehigh-1">Lehigh</a> Valley in <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/city-pennsylvania">Pennsylvania</a>. Contested from 2008 through 2016, the event was played at <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/stadium-lehigh-country-club">Lehigh Country Club</a> in <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/city-allentown">Allentown</a>, a historic course that tested competitors with tree-lined fairways, strategic hazards and carefully guarded greens. Unlike team sports, the tournament featured individual stroke-play competition, with golfers seeking the lowest score across the scheduled rounds and valuable points on the senior tour. Its fields included familiar names from major championships and the <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-golf/competition-pga-tour">PGA Tour</a>, giving fans the chance to watch accomplished professionals compete in a regional setting. Tom Lehman was among the event’s notable champions, winning the title three times, while other winners included Mark McNulty, Jeff Maggert and Miguel Ángel Jiménez. The Jefferson <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-basketball/team-lehigh-1">Lehigh</a> Valley Classic helped showcase championship golf in eastern <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/city-pennsylvania">Pennsylvania</a> and drew attention to <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/stadium-lehigh-country-club">Lehigh Country Club</a> as its host venue. Today, it remains a notable part of the <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-golf/competition-pga-tour">PGA Tour</a> Champions’ history and a memorable golf event for fans searching for information about past tournaments, players and courses in the <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-basketball/team-lehigh-1">Lehigh</a> Valley.
