The Corales Puntacana Championship is a professional golf tournament on the PGA TOUR, held at Corales Golf Course at Puntacana Resort & Club in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. First played in 2018, the event brings together an international field of professional players competing individually for the title and FedExCup points. The course, designed by Tom Fazio, is a par-72 layout known for its coastal scenery, challenging winds and dramatic finishing stretch. Its signature holes, known as the Devil’s Elbow, lead players along cliffs overlooking the Caribbean Sea and provide a distinctive test of accuracy and strategy. The championship is contested over four rounds of stroke play, with competitors aiming for the lowest total score. Past winners include Brice Garnett, Graeme McDowell, Hudson Swafford, Joel Dahmen, Matt Wallace and Nico Echavarria, reflecting the tournament’s mix of established champions and emerging talent. With PGA TOUR competition, a scenic Dominican Republic setting and a demanding seaside course, the Corales Puntacana Championship is a notable stop on the professional golf calendar and a popular event for fans following international golf.
