The Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières, often called GP3R, is a landmark motorsport event held on the temporary Circuit de Trois-Rivières in downtown Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada. Founded in 1967, it is known for bringing high-speed racing to public streets rather than a conventional stadium or permanent race track. The circuit is approximately 2.43 kilometres long and features tight corners that challenge drivers and create close competition. GP3R has welcomed a changing mix of racing categories over the years, including NASCAR Canada, sports cars, open-wheel racing and rallycross. The teams and drivers competing depend on the event’s annual schedule, so fans can expect different lineups from season to season. Alongside the on-track action, the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières offers a lively festival atmosphere, with spectators watching from trackside areas around the city course. Its long history, varied racing program and distinctive urban setting make GP3R a notable destination for motorsport fans seeking Canadian racing, skilled drivers and an exciting street-circuit experience.
