The Riviera Maya Open at Mayakoba is a professional women’s golf tournament on the LPGA Tour, staged at El Camaleón Golf Course in the Mayakoba resort near Playa del Carmen, Mexico. First held in 2025, the event brings an international field of individual players to compete over four rounds of stroke play; golf is not a team sport, although nationalities and player pairings often add interest for fans. El Camaleón is a par-72 championship course designed by Greg Norman, with holes that wind through jungle, mangroves and coastal terrain beside the Caribbean Sea. Rather than a traditional stadium, the tournament venue features a course, spectator areas and hospitality facilities across the resort. Its distinctive setting makes the Riviera Maya Open a notable stop on the LPGA schedule and gives viewers a chance to follow elite women’s golf in Mexico. Fans can check the tournament’s official schedule and LPGA coverage for tee times, player entries, leaderboard updates and results. The event also highlights Mayakoba as an established destination for major professional golf competitions.
