The Indy Women in Tech Championship was a professional women’s golf tournament on the LPGA Tour, held at Brickyard Crossing Golf Course in Indianapolis, Indiana. Rather than a team competition, the event featured an international field of individual LPGA players competing for the title and prize money. Its distinctive venue sits on the grounds of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway: 14 holes are outside the oval, while four are inside the famous racetrack, giving the course a setting unlike most tour stops. The tournament debuted in 2017 and brought top women’s golf to a city known worldwide for motorsports. Lexi Thompson won the inaugural championship, and Georgia Hall claimed the 2018 title. Brickyard Crossing’s mix of parkland golf and views of the speedway made the event a notable addition to the LPGA schedule. Fans searching for the Indy Women in Tech Championship can explore its tournament history, winners, course details and connection to Indianapolis sports. The event is a past LPGA tournament, not a current annual fixture, so visitors should check the tour’s official schedule for up-to-date information about women’s professional golf in the area.
