The FM Championship is a professional women’s golf tournament on the LPGA Tour, held at TPC Boston in Norton, Massachusetts. Launched in 2024, the event brings leading LPGA players to a course known for hosting major professional tournaments, including the former Deutsche Bank Championship. The championship is an individual stroke-play competition rather than a team event, with golfers aiming to post the lowest total score across four rounds. Its inaugural field featured 144 competitors, and South Korea’s Hyo Joo Kim claimed the first title after a playoff against American Lauren Coughlin. TPC Boston is a par-72 course designed by Gil Hanse, with fairways, bunkers and greens that test accuracy as well as distance. The FM Championship adds a high-profile stop to the LPGA schedule and gives fans in the Boston area an opportunity to watch some of the world’s best women golfers compete.
