The Dubai Moonlight Classic is a professional women’s golf tournament held at Emirates Golf Club in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Part of the Ladies European Tour, the event is known for staging play under floodlights on the club’s Faldo Course, giving players and spectators a distinctive evening golf experience. It is an individual stroke-play competition rather than a team event, with an international field of professional golfers competing for the title and prize money. The tournament was launched in 2019, building on the earlier Dubai Ladies Classic, and has featured leading players from the LET and other tours. Emirates Golf Club provides the event’s sporting venue, with the Faldo Course’s layout offering a test of accuracy, strategy and putting across its holes. The Dubai Moonlight Classic also attracts attention for its unusual night-time format, which distinguishes it from many traditional daytime golf tournaments. For golf fans following women’s professional sport in the Middle East, the event offers a chance to see elite players compete in one of Dubai’s best-known golf settings.
